This post will teach you how to install printer to your Computer correcly , so first if you have brand new printer in front of you, there is nothing to worry you can simply use the original printer CD and put it to computer and see the introductions follow them and install your printer,
but if you dont have Driver CD then you have to do the all the things manually , so first you need to know what is your printer brand , you can simply check back or front side of your printer and see the brand and model number also, then go to the control panel--> device and printers ---> add new printer then you can have popup box , remember before do this step plug in your printer so if the printer gives drivers automatically you can see the printer on the list .
if you cant see printer on the list you may go now to " The printer i want was not in the list" click on it and now you can see several things you need is go to the "add local printer settings " and next and now select port, port means the usb port you have used for printer so leave it it comes with default, and then select printer brand and model and your fine..
how to Test Printer ?
go to the printer you add, rigt click on it and goto printer options and you can see test page button click on it now you can see test paper coems out on printer

එහෙමත් නැත්තම් control panel ගිහින් ---> Device and Printers වලට ගිහින් add new Printer දෙන්න දැන් pop up box එකක් එනවා printer එක pc එකට automatically drivers දෙනවා නම් එතන පෙන්නවා නැත්තම් පල්ලහා click කරන්න The printer i want was not in the list " කියන එක ඊට පස්සේ එන dialog box එකේ ඇති 3rd Option එකක් එකෙන් පුළුවන් (පින්තුරය බලන්න ) ඔයාගේ printer එකේ brand එකයි model එකයි දීල printer drivers install කරන්න ... ඊට පස්සේ next දෙන්න වැඩේ හරි ...
